GRAW 2 DLC Freed By PS3

Submitted by Paul Munn on August 28, 2007 – 6:00 pmComments

GRAW 2 on PS3Joystiq reports that a second Throwback Pack of remastered GRAW 1 maps joins the Throwback Pack released for free last week on Xbox Live Marketplace, taking a formerly 1200-point set of content and pricing it at zero, unless I’m missing something in the article.

Who do the bajillions of XBox Live subscribers have to thank for such generosity? Not the Discovery Channel, although I’m sure everyone would welcome another gift from them. I think you can tip your hat to the quite late but very-well-received PS3 port of GRAW 2 that I’m guessing includes all of that content on the disc. So far I’m seeing a 5-star Editor’s Choice from Gamespy capping an aggregated 8.6 MetaCritic score.

If you have an Xbox 360 copy of GRAW 2 collecting dust, you can now dig into more maps and co-op fun with your friends for free if you held out and didn’t buy it right away, that is. And if you just have a PS3, you’ve got another great shooter to enjoy.
