Tiny Diggers – An iPad Construction Truck Game for Kids Age 2-5

Take Two came out of nowhere this afternoon and announced that they were delaying the release of Grand Theft Auto IV to their second quarter release schedule, which starts February 1st, 2008. The only explanation for the delay is that certain elements of the game were taking longer than expected to finish.

This is a huge blow to the financials for Take Two, which went from profit to loss in a matter of minutes. I am sure that this will also inflame the rumors about the difficulty of fitting the game to the 360 standard DVD9 format vs the PS3′s larger BluRay Drive.

It will be interesting to see if anyone moves their release to that open date now that they would have little to go up against with one less release to deal with in an already huge-looking holiday release schedule.
