Get A 60GB PS3 For $365
A coworker has been asking me questions about the big three consoles over the past few days and I’ve been happy to fill him in as we eat lunch or wait for conference calls to begin. He’s got an HD set at home but was really intrigued by the Wii’s motion control. I explained the differences between the three systems to him in terms of control and media playback and his interest in high definition DVD playback seemed to win the day. Yesterday he proudly mentioned that he was going to order a 60GB PS3 from SonyStyle.com and get $150 back by using their credit card.
Late yesterday Bill Harris described just how to do it, too, bringing the $499 behemoth down to a svelte $365.
The kicker? This is the same way I bought my own PS3 back in March. It was a limited time offer then, and I didn’t buy the system from their site, instead applying for the card, then picking it up with other items I wanted at a local big box retailer. I was thrilled when the 8 to 12 week wait for the $150 credit on the account ended up being 2 weeks, appearing on the account before I even got the first bill. Truth be told my spouse was even happier than me when that credit appeared. She was probably thinking I made it up.
