Bioshock to Support Live for Windows

logobioshock.jpgWhen I visited with the guys at Irrational Games and 2K Games, I was told that Bioshock would have the Games for Windows label. There was no other information beyond that in regards to the Games for Windows labeling.

Well, in this month’s PC Gamer, there is a blurb at the end of a preview that they did on the Bioshock game leading up to its release. In the last paragraph of the article, Norman Chan starts talking about all the PC Centric features of the game, and mentions, “the game will also support Live for Windows.” Now I had not heard this news, but if so, it means that we PC gamers will be allowed to get our achievement groove on while playing Bioshock. It would have to be that, because the game does not support multiplayer, so achievements would be the only other reason to have support for Live for Windows.

I have an inquiry into 2K Games to see if they can clarify this for me, but until then, I only have what PC Gamer has written, so it seems like we may have achievements in Bioshock.
