Aeropause Interviews Band of Bugs Developer

Ninja Bee, developers of the Xbox Live Arcade title, Band of Bugs, gave me the opportunity to ask some questions about Band of Bugs as well as the gaming industry in general.

For those of you that haven’t played Band of Bugs, yet, I encourage you to do so,especially if you enjoy games like Final Fantasy Tactics or Fire Emblem. Oh, and did I mention that Band of Bugs includes a level editor? All in all, an excellent game for the money.

How long is the development cycle for a title like Band of Bugs? In what ways was Band of Bugs typical or atypical compared to other titles that NinjaBee has produced?

    I almost bought band of bugs but I have so many XBLA games that I haven’t finished.

    Nice read. Yeah that’s one thing I like about XBLA games is the lack of disc reading/waiting around for load times; It’s a true arcade game in that respect. Hopefully Microsoft will raise the maximum file size limitations in the near future for a more content-rich experience that both developers and gamers keep asking for.
