Trauma Center: New Blood coming to Wii.

All the better to see you with.
Last year’s Wii launch title Trauma Center: Second Opinion was a low-budget remake of the DS sleeper hit, Trauma Center: Under the Knife. Some were disappointed that it was not a sequel, but the game came out great (I know I enjoy it) and was a special treat for those of us who never got around to picking up the DS version.

Those who were hoping for a sequel then, and the expanded audience that the Wii edition brought, will be jazzed to hear that Atlus will be bringing a sequel, called Trauma Center: New Blood to the Wii. Greg Miller at IGN has a preview of the new game from E3, complete with screens, right here.

The new title will be full voiced, run in 480p and 16:9 widescreen modes, feature a ton of new characters and allow you to put your high scores up against the best in the world via the Wii’s online score tracker.

Surprising, but very cool stuff.

The secret sauce for enhancing the longevity of a great game isn’t just online scoreboards, it’s online scoreboards you can toggle a filter on to show just your friends list.

I hope the Wii has that, but will it be easy to remember who friend code DFKKDS-SDLK8-DLKdf-987SLD really is?

Thanks, I’ll be here all week, and be sure to tip your servers generously!
