Square-Enix bringing Dragon Quest IV-VI to the DS.

Shove this one into the “no-brainer” category. Square-Enix has shown the first images of upcoming DS remakes of the three middle episodes of the most popular video game franchise in Japan. With Final Fantasy III on the DS being a phenomenal success, and Dragon Quest IX on its way for the platform, the only surprise here is that they started with IV instead of I.
Fortunately for us, though, these are games that really would only be making their first US appearances, much like Final Fantasy III. At least one of the games never actually made it to the US the first time around.
