Rock Band Pricing Finally Released

Submitted by on July 24, 2007 – 11:52 pm2 Comments

rockbandsign.jpgThe one thing that we did not get an answer on at E3 in regards to the game Rock Band was the cost of the game and the peripherals. Well, now we have the answer. Engadget reports that the Rock Band pre-order bundle, which includes the game, a mic, a guitar and a drum set will set you back $199.99. Not as bad as I thought, but it does make me look at Guitar Hero 3 a bit more.

If you want to get the items separately, the game will cost you $60, the mic is $30, and the drum set comes in at $80. The weird thing is that the article is saying that the guitar is $80 for the 360, but only $50 for the PS3. No explanation as to why, but as always, prices can change up until the game is launched.
