I kept getting screwed up trying to use the motion control to fly. But the way it was hyped, I figured it would do better than this. The 360 fanboys are going to have a field day with this. It hasn't shaken my interest in the game, but I wonder about personal preference in the reviews. Older preview stuff said the motion controls were great. I saw this game at the PS3 Source Event months ago and haven't been interested in it since, what was my opinion of it? "Everyone's drooling over Lair but I just haven't seen anything yet to cause me to be overly excited about it." Glad nothing's changed since November. Game is still just as average as it looked then. I wouldn't care so much about the actual review number but rather what the reviewer says in the in depth review. 2nd hand info like this would never make me NOT buy a game, but it would certainly slow my purchase down to at least read more reviews and wait for some more word of mouth. I will say though, that considering how hyped this game was, it must have had some big issues to get a 5/6. It seems like games like this with fantastic graphics and huge budgets usually get a bit of a pass from reviewers so for them to give a game like this 5s and 6s really says they didn't care for it. While I'm interested in Lair, I had no plan to buy it sight unseen. Reviews are important, but for any title I may have a tilt towards when reviews aren't stellar, hands-on time is critical to seal the deal. You can’t go wrong with R6Vegas.
