With our own James leading my co-op Terrorist Hunts in Rainbow Six Vegas, I’d been able to learn quite a bit. With another friend jumping in on Saturday night for the first time the three of us got to dig in and dish out the pain to the bad guys with guts, glory, and goof-ups. Getting the third man together was very nice, and with luck a fourth will join us.

It’s all good until you realize your two friends are giving you advice on where to go next via your headset. That means they’re already dead and watching over your shoulder to see how you will do taking out the remaining 30 bad guys yourself.

The other game I played this weekend is Dungeon Maker on the PSP. Even if I’m feeling lazy and don’t particularly want to build out my dungeon during a given play session, I’m happy running through the dungeon to scoop up some cash to build with later. However, by the end of that run I’m tweaking the dungeon anyway, and before I know it an hour has flown by. There’s always just one more thing to try to make the dungeon better. If only it let you share your dungeon online instead of via local Wi-Fi.

What did you play this weekend?

Bomberman Live and Guitar Hero 2 was about it for me this weekend. That along with trying to beat my wife at the 3 Peaks card game on the DS Touchmaster game. She’s to good at it though ;) .

Dusted off 007 Everything or Nothing and some Kid Icarus on VC. EoN is great. I forgot how good it looks.

Played a bit of System Shock 2 until it stopped working in XP. Also got into some Blade Runner, Manic Mansion (Old school, but still a ton of fun) and worked a little farther in Jade Empire.
