Rockstar Vancouver’s Bully, one of the company’s more critically acclaimed games, will be coming to Wii and 360 this winter. This is a surprise to me, but I suppose it shouldn’t be. Bully wasn’t the huge hit that the GTA games were, and it makes sense to give good games with disappointing sales new life on new platforms (Okami, cough).

What I remember most about Bully is how some alarmists tried to make a big deal out of the game before they found out it wasn’t really about what you would expect. I recall enjoying the deflating sound of said alarmists. Fsssssssh plubablubbbablubba.

This is good news, though. Good games on more platforms? That’s good. Rockstar says unspecified “additional new content” will appear in this Bully: Scholarship Edition. Mmm, additional. Check out the press release below.

Hey nice to see Bully get some new legs. It’s on my GameFly queue already for the PS2 version.

I like your balloon deflation sound, too.

I would love to see a PC version. I really thought when it dropped for the Xbox, it would come to the PC as well, but I guess I was wrong.
