So, with the recent information that video game spending is about to surpass music spending, I’m curious. If you were buying a new music player, would being able to game (even casually) on the music player be part of your consideration on which brand to choose? In other words, would you choose the full-size iPod for its games? Leave a comment with your opinion!

I would definetly look for this feature, even though I wouldn’t plan on playing games on it. I have an ipod and I use it only for music, but the way I see it, the technology is there, and if I am going to spend my hard earned money on something like an ipod, I want it to utilize the technologies available.

Nope. Feature creep just bugs. I want my hardware streamlined, and affordable. Dont go making my devices bigger and more expensive just so you can add some features most will never use. I pick a music player based on size/capacity/price/interface.

i learned a lesson a long time ago. stick with games on consoles. spending money on games for computers & iPods are just anticipating disappointments.
