The Trailer for Hitman Has Landed
A month or so ago, I had a link to some photos from the set of Hitman (they have dropped the “Codename 47″ in the title). Well, it seems that IGN has an exclusive trailer for the film that has me interested and concerned about it.
The trailer seems to have a lot of things right about the game series, but every time I saw something good on the screen, it was followed up with a huge explosion. Explosions are not in 47′s vocabulary unless used as a diversion. The whole role of 47 was to slip in and out without anyone even knowing he had been there. That was why they created the Silent Assassin award in the game.
I will probably be there on the opening weekend, because I have to admit that they did capture the look of the character down to the suit. And to be honest, Timothy Olyphant fits the costume far better than Vin Diesel would have.
