You may be familiar with the Movie Mistakes website, where they point out all the errors you can see in films, like cast members of the Titanic sliding down the decks on skateboards.

Now, from the same group, comes Game Mistakes, where we can all do the same thing with video games. The site is very new and there’s not much content there, but expect it to grow as people find out about it. The mistakes include cheats (I’m not sure those should be considered mistakes) and glitches.

A paid membership costs $10 per year, and includes no ads, permanent screenshot database access, submission priority, credit for your submissions, and a customized home page with links to new entries.

This site is terrible. It’s like a half-assed way of finding cheat codes. If they removed all of the codes this might at least be interesting.

They don’t have much content yet… be patient.

The site doesn’t have content yet, but that point aside, it really could use a redesign.

Text is VERY abundant and it just feels cluttered. Give it a clean-up, remove some ads, and maybe it’ll be a decent site that people will want to visit.

I don’t think games have many mistakes though; it’s not like a movie where you’re photographing real life where crazy things happen all the time. In games, you are creating the life events, so unless you intentionally put something in there, it probably won’t be a mistake.

Good attempt at bringing the video game culture some new content, but I recommend a redesign and maybe a content change…like a forum for bug-reporting (hey, it’s a mistake, right?)

    Cheers.

They do have a forum – it’s just shared with Movie Mistakes.

No, I mean use the website as a forum, or a means, medium, whatever you want to call it, of sharing bugs.

Like I said before, mistakes are probably hard to come by in video games, as the world is created, most likely to perfection. Movies, however, are recorded life, filled with human mistakes; therefore the movies website is viable, while as video games might not have much content.
