flOw Freely On Your PC

ThatGameCompany has released a free Windows version of flOw. The 12 Meg download is a simple zipped-up folder containing three versions of the game as EXEs running the Flash version of the game. There’s a “classic” version, “official” version, and a “widescreen” version.

I fiddled around with this new PC verison for a few minutes to get the screen shot above, but I greatly prefer the PS3 version. It’s much prettier, even if it’s not free.

    I think this was available before the PS3 version, actually, like last year. It’s a nifty little “game.”

    By looking at the screens I would say this is the flash/original version made downloadable. Of course the PS3 version looks better, this is it’s prototype.

    Yeah, I played this a while ago as well, but still can sit down in front of it and waste a good 1-2 hours just messing around. Never got past the second species though. I got to the end and was hoping to play the amoeba or whatever it it.
