Championship Sprint now Worst PS3 game
Last week’s PlayStation Store tossed the last of the six Midway titles out into the world, and they definitely did not save the best for last. Championship Sprint not only brings up the rear in among the six Midway games adapted to the PlayStation Network, but its “Terrible” 2.8 rating takes the title of worst PS3 game yet from the far-better-looking Super Rub-A-Dub, which came in at 2.9 at IGN.
There’s an old saying that says a game is only late for a certain amount of time, but once released it will stink forever. Yes, the old saw predates the world of patches, but that’s not the point. The point is that it needs a corollary that takes cancellation into account. If the game itself at its best is really a bad game to port to home console like IGN says Championship Sprint is, cancellation is a quick and merciful death. Unless of course, someone else buys the rights.
