Can’t replicate Bridge of Eldin bug with fixed Zelda disc.

I was able to get a save immediately after the second dungeon in Twilight Princess thanks to wiisave.com, which finally gave me the opportunity to easily test the Bridge of Eldin bug with my new-version game disc. The save, which is this one right here, was made immediately after completing the second dungeon in the game.
The save is actually the optional autosave that happens when you complete the dungeon, so it dropped me right in Kakariko Village, right after having been warped out of the dungeon. I had a long cutscene to skip (press the – button twice, in case you don’t know), then after a trip to the store for some bombs, I was off across Hyrule Field on horseback for my date with a bridge.
I crossed the bridge and pitched a bomb at the wall. A couple of them, actually, because the first one missed. The cutscene began, and as soon as I had control, which was when the camera was still reorienting after the cutscene, I hit the + key and saved and quit. When I loaded the game I was standing on the bridge, on the north side of the gap, with the enemies approaching from the north. No sign of the bug.
At this time I’m waiting for a contact who’s encountered the bug on her disc to use the same save and attempt to replicate the bug the way she hit it last time. I’ll keep you posted.
