The Sims 2: Seasons — I See Plant People

Submitted by Paul Munn on May 3, 2007 – 9:00 amComments

sims2seasons_rainstorm_in_garden.pngI recently bought a copy of The Sims 2 when it fell to 20 bucks. I used to have the game back before I upgraded my PC, but I gave it away when I found I couldn’t run it well enough at the time. It’s really quite nice to play around with for a few minutes at a time, and the staggering amount of ways to play the game is spiced up by its aspirations and fears system.

Yet another expansion has come out for The Sims 2 called Seasons. The X-Play review named it as the expansion to get if you’re only going to buy one of them. It doesn’t add downtown areas but it adds several relaxing and interesting features to the seasons. Things like fishing, gardening, and snowball fights. The weird thing is that you can grow a plant person from the garden, and that person becomes a family member. Who can, ah, fully interact with humans. And have kids.

You can check out the MP4 video of the review here. It made me laugh more than once.
