Stor3d: Calling All Cars!, Rampart, and Trailers.
The May 10th update for the PlayStation store has released something old and something new along with new game trailers.
On the games front we’ve got the latest Midway classic Rampart with online play from SOE and the long-awaited debut of Calling All Cars! I saw James playing C.A.C. late last night so perhaps he’ll grace us with some impressions of the game. I wasn’t able to wrest control of my TV from my spouse to do much with my PS3 last night. Go go gadget PSP!
As for trailers we have a mostly useless trailer for the new Burnout Paradise game showing footage of civilian cars driving in a city along with a hot rod or two just rolling along; a trailer for the next Midway translation to PSN — Rampage: World Tour; and a third, juicy trailer for Warhawk focusing on the flying and dogfighting aspects of the game.
While I haven’t picked up Gauntlet II or Rampart, I think I might just pick up Rampage right out of the gate when it’s ready. I loved War of the Monsters on PS2 from Incognito — which really deserves a remake with online multiplayer if they can balance it well enough — so a good monster game is appealing to me.
