Sigil Interactive Brought Into the Sony Family

Sigil Interactive, the developers of Vanguard: Saga of Heroes has been officially bought by Sony. There have been a lot of rumors that detailed this purchase, but it was officially announced today.
Vanguard had a rather bumpy launch three months ago as it was full of bugs and still in an unstable form. Brian McQuaid, co-founder and lead developer of Vanguard admitted that mistakes were made and that the launch did not go as planned. The game tried to revist the Everquest type of MMORPG, where leveling up was tough and solo playing was nearly impossible.
Most of the team will be absorbed into Sony Online Entertainment, and Brian McQuaid will work as an outside consultant.
