An interview with producer Roger Carpenter of Sierra went online yesterday at Gamespot. The interview is very general, but it does touch on a lot of things that weren’t covered before, including the fact that Bizarre Creations is involved with the game in some way, it is indeed Kuju behind the game (the NP article simply said it was the development team behind Battalion Wars), and online functionality. Most interesting at this point is that the DS and Wii versions will interact with each other.

RC: With GWG, we’ve set out to design one game experience that works equally well on both systems (rather than two separate games), and we’ve thought of quite a number of ways to reward players for playing both. As far as I know, it’s pushing the link between the two systems further than any other game out there.”

As an example he says that if you have the Wii version of the game, you can send the DS version of Retro Evolved from the Wii to your DS. You don’t even need the DS cartridge to do this. That’s totally unprecedented.

Check out the whole interview right here.
