Tiny Diggers – An iPad Construction Truck Game for Kids Age 2-5

THQ dropped two big bombshells on the gaming public today and both centered around the Saints Row franchise. First off is the obvious, and that is Saints Row 2 is now confirmed for both the PS3 and the Xbox 360. The game should hit shelves some time in 2008. Not much was said, but one thing of mention was that the game would deliver, “an all-new cross-platform gaming experience.” Does this mean that multiplayer will be allowed between PS3 and 360 players? I can’t see Microsoft allowing this, but it was interesting to read it.

Second bit of news was that Saints Row will stay Xbox 360 exclusive as the port to the PS3 has been cancelled. Seems that Volition decided that the resources they were using for the port could be better used for the sequel. This was probably wise, because it sounds like production was behind schedule, and the last thing you would have wanted was the PS3 version of the sequel being held up, while the 360 version was released.
