Thanks to GameTrailers for the videos.
Spider Man 3 – May 4th, 2007
The last time the Amazing Spider Man was on the PC, it was a disaster. First the horrible demo was released. Then the denials from Activision. And finally, the game was released as a kid’s game that was totally different from the console versions, yet included in the same marketing campaign. This time around, we are going to get the same experience as the consoles, but at a steep price. The minimum specs for this game are no slouch and to run it in recommended mode will only be done by the few machines powerful enough to run it. But it the graphics are looking spectacular and the more refined freestyle GTA-like environment will improve on the console version the last time around.
Halo 2 for Vista – May 8th, 2007
So Halo 2 is finally coming to the PCs after several years of reigning over the multiplayer landscape on the Xbox and Xbox 360. Actually, there should be a clarification there. It is coming to a PC near you if you have Windows Vista. That’s right, you need Vista to run Halo 2. It is also the launch game for the new Games for Windows Live platform, complete with achievements. The game has been spruced up a bit for the PC and will have larger Multiplayer games. But the question is whether PC gamers will buy a game that has been available for 2+ years on the Xbox platform.
Sam and Max Episode 6: The Bright Side of the Moon – May 10th, 2007
Sam and Max are in the sixth, and final episode of their adventures. This should wrap up the loose ends and finalize the story that was started in Episode 1. These games have been a lot of fun to play and give you a lot of humor in short bursts. Some might want to wait at this point for the DVD that will package all of these Episodes into one package for a low price, but if you have bought them all so far, this should be another quality release for Human Head.
Resident Evil 4 – May 15th, 2007

Resident Evil has been released on the PS2, the Gamecube and now it will make an appearance on the PC. Capcom has made a big push towards PC gamers by releasing a lot of their big titles on the PC. While Resident Evil 4 was a great game on the PC, it does suffer from some control issues for PC players. But looking past the controls, you will find a great story and scary action not scene on the PC since Clive Barker’s Undying. The graphics will get a nice bump due to running at resolutions as high as 1920×1200 in 32bit color. It will also release at a budget price, which should seal the deal. No video for this one, because I could not find any in regards to the PC.
Shadowrun – May 29th, 2007
Shadowrun is probably second, only to Halo 2 in regards to the Microsoft hype machine. Shadowrun will be the first cross-platform game supported on the Games for Windows Live initiative. It will allow PC gamers and console gamers settle the debate over which platform is better for First Person Shooters. The graphics look pretty good and the play balance is quite well done. This will also be the first test of the support of microtransactions as the game can have an extra 250 points of content added via the Marketplace. Not sure how that will be handled, but the game should be a lot of fun to keyboard/mouse jockeys that want to prove their superiority.
