Hot Shots Tennis: Tennis for Everybody

hotshotstennis_powershot.pngClap Hanz is the developer behind the long-running Hot Shots Golf series, and I was pleasantly surprised to see Hot Shots Tennis announced by them. Tennis games to date have mostly fallen into the realistic camp with Virtua Tennis giving folks quite a challenge, or in the trailer trash potty-mouthed camp with the Outlaw series of games. Hot Shots Tennis is going to walk in and set up camp in the happy, more relaxing space alongside its brother, and I think it’ll do well. It’s also going to debut not on the PlayStation 3 alongside its shiner upcoming sibling Hot Shots Golf 5, but on the PlayStation 2.

I don’t see any mention of online play, which is disappointing, but HSG4 had online play so it’s possible this title will as well.
