Happy Tree Friends Come to XBLA

The cult animated show, Happy Tree Friends are coming to XBLA and the PC in the near future. The game will be developed by Stainless Games (Carmaggedon fame) and released by Sega. The game will focus on the cuddly heroes of the show that get caught up in all kinds of horrible accidents. The plot will focus on three of the characters from the show, Flippy, Handy and Lumpy. They will be on a quest to free three of the other Happy Tree Friends characters from certain death. Figure to see a lot of homage to the show during the game. No dates have been set for this game.

    Man, I remember when I first discovered this show, maybe 4 years ago? might be longer. I found an article on IGN about the release of the first DVD and after watching a few, I had to buy it. Now there are 3 DVD’s, the third of which feels like it’s getting a little tired but there are some instant classics throughout. Any time the little pirate guy shows up, I crack up.
