Man, that's funny. I just FINALLY found a copy of Return to Arms at my local gamestop that didn't cost an arm and a leg. I've been looking for it for about 6 months off and on since I started actively working through my list of games to beat before I die. They had a pretty sweet "buy 2 get 1 free" on all used games so I grabbed Fable and Soul Calibur II. 2 more games that I never got around to that I always wanted to pick up. I started out on Fable first and that's going well. It's looking to be pretty fun so far. Lots of cutscenes but I'm enjoying them so that's nice. I love the good/evil element as it really makes you think about what you do before you do it. I used to play a lot of Baldurs gate back in the day and as long as no was around, you could pretty much ransack every house in the village. Not the best thing to do for good characters, but in the game world with no ramifications? Why not? Well, in Fable there ARE ramifications. I don't know what they are but damnit, it sure sucks to see that little picture of you with horns pop up everytime you accidentally shoot a civilian in the heat of battle. Anyway, yeah, lots of good catchup gaming this weekend for me, and likely lots more to come. My backlog of xbox and ps2 games is enormous.
