Today Bungie has released word that another Halo novel is set to drop this fall. The novel is written by Joseph Staten, the man responsible for writing most of the Halo games, including Halo 3. This new novel will be set 30 years before th events that happen in the first Halo game and will follow very closely the bravado of Sergeant Avery Johnson, if you know Halo then you know who I am talking about. The story will tell of first contact from the viewpoints of humans and the covenant. If you have ever read any of the Halo novels then you know that Joseph has a lot to live up to as the previous novels all made the best sellers list, and for good reason as they were great reads. Ohh, by the way the name of the novel will be Halo: Contact Harvest.
