Teaser Site for Possible Unannounced Tom Clancy Game
Today, there were stories at Gamespot and Golden Age Forums that pointed to a website, www.rev64.com, that in turn, redirected to a website, www.jsf28555833-80604722.com.
Upon arriving at the website, you see an outline of a man’s face. He looks like he is in a hospital bed. A stat tape runs next to his face. In the background, you hear all kinds of havok happening in the world. EMP attacks, terrorist attacks, and the 2028 Olympic Games being cancelled. Looks like its the end of the world as we know it. Two other things that stick out is that the man’s stats show, “EKS: MINDMAP Verified”. Also, it talks about some sort of Antigen. So a virus could be in this man’s body that affects his mind. Just a guess at this point.
So I tried searching down any new registrations at the Trademark office, but nothing came up. Same thing at the copyright office. So what is Ubisoft planning? Not sure if it is an extension of the GRAW universe or if it is a new property. But it definitely got me curious.
UPDATE: A thread at GhostRecon.net pointed out that all three Tom Clancy game websites, Rainbow Six, Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon have fake news stories that talk about lots of war and casualties. And a banner ad to the right leads to the www.rev64.com website. I wonder if it is some sort of joint project between all three properties, or even the possibility of an MMORPG involving all three properties.
