Official Wii website gets a shiny new coat.

Today, checking in at Nintendo’s Virtual Console page was a surprise because they’ve completely changed it up, very much for the better.
The new look shows four of the most recent releases with title screen images (just as they would appear in your Wii channels or on the Shop Channel). Below that, you get a much better looking and screen-spanning list of the titles available, with original platform, genre, date it appeared on the Virtual Console, and the price in Wii Points. Each of the titles is a link to the individual gamepage for that game. Previously, the page was much more cluttered with other information that was just not needed, which has been moved to a linked page called “Virtual Console FAQ”. Very nice.
Further investigation shows they redid the whole site, not just this part. They went all out here, even spelling the names of all the games on the game page correctly this time. Also, the roster of games has been updated with new releases like Super Paper Mario and Prince of Persia: Rival Swords. Overall, a much better site design.
