Ninja Gaiden Sigma Worth The Price Of Re-Admission?

ninja-gaiden-sigma.jpgGamespy’s hands-on preview of Ninja Gaiden Sigma for the PlayStation 3 calls it worth the price of admission, and attempts to scale Motorstorm-like heights of hype by saying it possibly could even be worth the price of a PS3.

With “perfect” tightness of control of Ryu, a completely different but just-as-good feel for the newly playable Rachel complete with a bionic-commando-style wrist grapple, and great 1080p high resolution graphics, Sigma looks poised to earn every penny of its no-doubt full-retail next-gen-price on the PS3, despite it not really being a next-gen game as an Xbox port.

There will be full per-level and final score tracking in online leaderboards, but no trophy support for Home.

There will be a demo for the game out in Japan in May if memory serves, but there’s no word yet on a US version.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this was also going to make it to the Xbox 360, but having it on PS3 first at least tells me that they might release a future Ninja Gaiden game on the PS3 alongside the Xbox 360 as well.

Via Gamespy. Image, too.

Yeah, i’ve bought this game twice, i’m not buying it again, especially since I don’t own a ps3 yet. Maybe in 5 years, when the game is $20, and the ps3 is $200.
