Marathon Super Paper Mario Event

Gamespot is hosting a four hour live broadcast of Super Paper Mario, starting at 1:00 Pacific Time. They will be playing through the game while users can watch and chat as they play. You do have to be a registered user, but all memberships, including the free membership can sign in and watch.

    I can never understand why they do this kind of thing. The spoiler potential is terrible. I’ve been trying to keep some distance between myself and anything but official trailers lately for games I want.

    The whole thing looks a little too much like an ad for the product as well for my taste. You’d think a good review would be enough.

    I did like their 24 hours of Oblivion one. Yeah, I did learn some things, but the game is so large, that I did not learn all that much in the long run. I have never played a Paper Mario game, but I am going to assume they are shorter than an Elder Scrolls game. Maybe that is why the thing is only 4 hours. So they don’t get too deep into the game.
