Live Arcade Wednesday 04/04/2007: Luxor 2
No, it’s not a river in Egypt. It’s not even a city in Egypt. Luxor 2 is a sequel of a game named after a city in Egypt. I know that doesn’t seem all that exciting but Luxor 2 can be. Considered a “premium casual game” across the internet, Luxor 2 is a color-matching puzzle/action game with, as you probably guessed, an Egyptian theme.
This isn’t exactly the type of game I’d go crazy for but I’m still pretty happy to see web games return to the Live Arcade. There was a big influx of games like Zuma, Jewel Quest and Bejeweled 2 when the Live Arcade started up but since then, it’s been pretty scarce. People love games like these, maybe not for 800 points ($10 US), but they sure love them for free.
