Free T-Mobile WiFi and Instant Replays on PSP

The latest 3.30 firmware for the PSP has added the ability to connect up to T-Mobile hotspots, and includes a 6-month trial membership. Read the fine print over at the T-Mobile website and you’ll see that’s worth a nice chunk of change.
On the other side of the pond, Sony will be introducing a new streaming service called S.PORT to the London Arsenal Football Club that will let people attending the football (soccer) games there get instant replays and scores on their PSP’s.
Put those two together and you’ve got a couple of nifty innovations for a handheld, innovations made possible by using a compatible, standards-compliant WiFi chipset. That, and some decent horsepower to run the show. Sorry, DS.
