Armored Core 4 Demo Available on the Marketplace

ArmoredCore4.JPGThe Major writes to let us all know that a Single Player demo for Armored Core 4 is available for download on the Xbox 360′s Live Marketplace. The demo features three single player missions from the full version of the game and is only available in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

I can’t say that I’ve ever been a huge Armored Core fan and if you combine that with a Metacritic score of 63/100, it’s a stretch to think that I’ll even bother with the demo. I’m a stickler for controls and AC4 doesn’t seem to remedy any of the problems from previous entries in the series.

I’d still love to hear from the Armored hardCore on this one. Is anyone even playing this?

    1. the graphical interface – WTF!! extremely funny- it shows u what weapons your using , ammo, PA and EN bars..PIP and your radar…IMO i thought the old games were to cluttered with weapon pictures …heat bars..it was a mess ..this one is sleek n efficient

    2. controls – …….u can customize every button..enough said – shut up an stop crying about something u can change..wit the push of a button….lol

    3. cheap AC’s online – once again, everyone has the same parts available ( assuming u unlocked everything)…stop crying and build a better AC…wtf…

    and i wasnt even a big fan of the old AC games…the gfx made me buy this one, and i actually like it! that says alot, i also used to think the controls and the game overall was too complicated…i just liked customizing AC’s lol
    only thing i will crit is a few graphical things i thought coulda been done better (such as my arms go thru my stabalizers when i run…this is NEXT-GEN…these problems should not be there..pure laziness..u couldnt angle the arms a few degrees? )and some missions are WAY to easy and WAY to short, while others are insane first few times around..specially on hard..i hate limitations on my elevation and stage borders, this should not be a factor anymore either…takes away the fun, i hate flying around n hearing that beeping, or exiting the stage on accident!!!! u cant allow us to fly but try to limit our hieght…not cool…customization complexity has been lowered, some new things to tweak of course but part wise designing gets old and boring, i find myself changing only my weapons for missions…my AC stays the same build wise….. i havent played online much but its basically simulator/arena mode with real people (up to 8 per game) and of course there are regulations on ranked games and they weaken damages and those sorts of things, this way people arent using dual SIRIUS cannons to annihilate u in 2 hits….other than that tho, the game is great, enjoy
