    Wii Internet Channel Preview

    By Richard Windsor | March 26, 2007

Over at Wii.com they have posted a developer round table sharing the development of the Wii’s online browser. The final build is set to release next month but until then you can see some screenshots and video of how the final product will look and act. I will always use my computer for real browsing, but I have found the trial version I am using right now quite handy when looking up game hints or tips for my 360.

Check out the Internet Channel preview here. To see the videos look for the hyper links that are dispersed within the wall of conversation.

    • Doesn't it strike you as strange that you need to go to the weaker spec'd Wii to look up things for your 360?

It is funny Paul, but at the same time it is a feature hardly worth writing home about. I think in due time MS will most likely offer a browser solution, but until browsing on a console is as powerful and easy as on a computer I don't see it ever being a real "feature"

Even if he didn't "need to" go to the Wii, he might anyway. The Wii Remote makes for very comfortable browsing, despite the Opera beta version's lack of features.
