As we wait for Metroid titles to start appearing on the Wii Virtual Console, and of course for the upcoming Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, here’s a look back at the US TV spots we’ve had for the various games in the Metroid series to go along with the Japanese commercial retrospective below. Oh, how far they’ve come. You’re not ready for the original one.

Indeed, I did initially post the German one, but how you saw it at 2:30am I have no idea. I replaced it with the right one less than 15 minutes after originally posting this last night at 10. I will never understand the Internet.
