No, they didn’t get shot or mugged.
Everyone who waitied in line at the Virgin flagship store in Oxford were given a 46-inch HD TV for free with their PS3, and a free cab ride home. Over 100 gamers got the TVs. The BBPS says the cost of the TVs amounted to £250,000.
And people in the US whose stores invited them inside and gave them coffee thought they were lucky.
