Starfox 64, casual puzzlers rated by ESRB for Wii.

nes-retro-pad.pngDS-X2 reports that STARFOX 64 has shown up on the ESRB’s site, with a rating of E, meaning it’s likely to appear on the Virtual Console. OK, that’s nice. I’ve heard good things about this game.

I went and had a look for myself. Some other Virtual Console games are on there we haven’t heard about yet, including Pilotwings, Galaga and Pac-Man (those last two also for Xbox Live Arcade), But read on.

What have we here? Those sound like casual puzzle games to me. Possible first not-from-an-older-console downloadable titles for the Wii Shop Channel? Interesting! And since Pac-Man and Galaga are mentioned for both Wii VC and Live Arcade, does that mean we’re getting the original arcade versions of these games on the Shop Channel? That would be much preferred to the NES ports.
