Crackdown #1 For February

crackdown-#1.jpgIt’s definitely satisfying when a game that you’re playing the heck out of ends up being a success. It almost guarantees that a sequel and additional content will come down the pipe. According to the NPD group, Crackdown rolled in as #1 in software sales this past February. That’s after launching on the 20th of the month, not too shabby.

While the Halo 3 demo definitely played a part in the 427,000 copies of Crackdown sold in ten days, the game definitely can stand on it’s own as one of the system’s best games. It’s probably my favorite title on the console and I can’t wait for the new downloadable game modes and 100 achievement points to become available.

Here’s to Realtime Worlds, I tip my morning coffee to ya. Definitely looking forward to APB.
