The thing with PN03 was much like a lot of the Wii reviews. The controls were very unorthodox. Much like Metroid prime compared to most FPSs the controls were very jarring at first, but once I got into the mindset of the devoloper (that this was truly a shmup sneakily camouflaged as a 3d action title) I really had a blast with it. As for handling "like a truck", once you get used to the controls, you realize normal 3d action controls would never work. The controls were actually bizarrely amazing. All the cartwheels, somersaults and dancing. Great idea, but the execution of the levels was poor. Too much repetition and the environment were very stark and spartan. I think they were going for a very sterile feel but it just seems a bit off. I loved the way the music worked with the gameplay, lots of solid techno beats. If you could play your own tunes a la excite truck that would have made it even better. This game won't quickly leave my collection.

You know, you could be right. My understanding was that the major issue with the game was the controls. I remember reading a review that said Vanessa handled like a truck. I wanted that game until I saw all the terrible reviews.

"What do you want Capcom to bring to the Wii?"

P.N.04

No seriously. I really liked the first one. With some better and more diverse environments and enemies, that would have been a great game.
