XOC pictures
A few days ago, I posted about my visit to Microsoft, as well as the XOC (Xbox Operations Center). Well, I wasn’t allowed to take any pictures, but approximately 1 year ago, Engadget was invited to the Xbox campus and was allowed to snap some pics of the XOC, and some of the disc changers that contain various Xbox Live titles. (There are a lot more, now.) Also, servers.
In any event, Engadget was apparently told this was not the XOC, and may not have been back in the day, but the XOC itself hasn’t changed much.
The row of four tiny monitors on the wall is where they can see streaming information from the simulated player sessions. You can see a 360 at each workstation, but when we went through a few weeks ago, there were easily 3-4 360′s and 1-2 original Xboxen at each station, for various regions, etc.
Anyway, like the Engadget story says, I’m still waiting for tours from Nintendo and Sony. Guys?
