Xbox Rewards Broken (But Here’s a Workaround)

When Microsoft opened up registration for the Xbox Challenge, I guess their system… well… it broke. BUT, if you need to get signed in (assuming you already have a Windows Live ID with a GamerTag linked) then go to this link:

https://reg.msgamestudios.com/default.aspx?site=XboxRewards&locale=en-US

That will allow you get Signed In properly, and you will then be registered. BUT you still won’t be registered for the challenge itself. For that go to this link:

http://xboxrewards.msgamestudios.com/challengesandrewards/Join.aspx?id=4

This is just a workaround until the team in charge of this site get their crap together. Unfortunately, nothing else on the site really works, so you can’t check your rewards or anything like that. And according to Major Nelson, this is not the same team that runs Xbox.com. Whoever is in charge of this should get together with whatever yayhoos run worldofwarcraft.com and have a party for people that can’t properly prepare their website for load.
