Third parties finally getting WFC devkits.

netcable.pngJoystiq sub-blog WiiFanboy is reporting third-hand (from Mercury News via Cubed3) that NOA president Reggie Fils-Aime is saying… oh out with it already! Talk about your recycled news! Third party developers are getting their online devkits now. What this should mean if everything’s been done as they claimed is that a lot of games that are near the end of development now could have online play plugged into them.

The effective meaning is probably only that games that are six months or more from the end of development could have online play added in. Keep in mind that Konami’s Elebits already has some online functionality in that you can send your user-created levels to your friends, but that’s not online play really, because you can’t play together online, get it?
