Target Gets Huge Wii Shipment Today!

Submitted by on February 11, 2007 – 1:54 pm3 Comments

target logo.jpgEarlier this week I got a tip that Target would be getting there hands on a mighty large shipment of Wii’s. I called last night and found out that my dreams were true, Target’s all across our great nation now have Wii’s in stock. To my surprise though there was only 3 other people waiting in the cold this morning. Usually the arrival of Wii’s is made very public through multiple blogs and websites, so how did this shipment slip through? It doesn’t matter because I finally got my Wii and after I left target they still had over 20 of them left. So get your lazy butt out the door and see if you can score a Wii today. Let us know if you get one!

I called several Target’s in and out of state and they all have Wii’s, usually over 30 of them!

Got one for my sister and her kids. This is the 4th unit I’ve bought. They had 30 units. I got there right when they opened the doors and there were about 20 people in line. I’m sure they will all be gone by noon.

    Way to go Richard!

Could it be that supply problems are starting to ease? I’d heard that Target was really just hoarding them for their weekend sale day to help drive traffic instead of getting a bigger shipment in. Kind of scummy, but they’re the retailer, not us.

I got mine about two weeks ago with the big sale that everyone knew about but I don’t think that the supply issue is absolved quite yet. There are still tons of people out there waiting to get there hands on a Wii. I don’t think they will be posted on many message boards anymore because a lot of those hardcore fans have gotten their’s by now. With over 4 million Wii’s out there I’m sure supply is starting to meet demand but not today.
