Shameful neglect of official Castlevania site

bats.pngOn November 8, 2005, Konami shipped Castlevania: Curse of Darkness for PS2 and Xbox. Since then, Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin has shipped for the DS, versions of Symphony of the Night have been announced to appear on Xbox Live Arcade, plus a PSP version as part of Dracula X Chronicles, with a remake of Rondo of Blood. Just this past Christmas Castlevania IV appeared on the Wii Virtual Console, and Castlevania is coming soon too.

But looking at the official website for the franchise, you wouldn’t know anything had happened at all since the release of Curse of Darkness. I mean, you can go to Konami’s site and look at all their news to find out, but for god’s sake, close the official site if you’re not going to maintain it.

My guess? The Castlevania articles here at Aeropause and on Farbot have made the official site obsolete.
