Out of Town: Thoughts On WoW and Halo 3

bclogo.jpgIf only my laptop were not cursed with a sub-par integrated graphics solution. I’d be playing World of Warcraft right now on the Redmond Inn’s wi-fi connection instead of writing this. The Burning Crusade has been quite fun, and I’ve been tossing out my old lvl 60 gear in favor of the new Burning Crusade greens and quest rewards.

I told my wife to login and level my characters for me. I think she thought I was joking…

In other news, I am also missing the Halo 3 Rule of Three fest. That’s where you login starting last night at midnight and play Halo 2 matchmaking for 3 hours. Then, if you’re one of the first 13,333 people to register on Feb. 5th, you get to play in the beta. Mental note, expect the internet to crash that day.

Well, I didn’t feel like staying up all night playing Halo 2, because plane rides and no sleep don’t mix very well in George-ville. I imagine some of our intrepid readers have already been through the rigamarole, so if anyone has gotten an invite, let me know. That way, I can track you down and “stoled yuor megahurts”.

Meanwhile, I look forward to sitting down and playing some Crackdown tomorrow. Stay tuned for the full preview sometime that night. And remember, keep looking up!
