GRAW 2 Multiplayer: Meh.
My time with GRAW 2 last night was, well as the title suggests, meh. It’s still more of the same old GRAW experience, meaning it’s decidedly different than the excellent Single Player game. Duck and Cover is still MIA and the minor improvements make it feel like GRAW 1.5 more than a true sequel at all.
The addition of revival in the multiplayer experience is novel but just as with Gears, it’s pretty useless. I can imagine if I was playing with comrades that I knew really well, they might come to my aid but normally, I’m playing with random strangers. Combine that with the fact that none of my friends can imagine paying $60 for the same experience and well, I give it a thumbs down for now.

I know what you mean. The only big improvement over GRAW was that the online graphics looks better. They more closely resemble the single player experience. Though I still must say that I prefer the single player graphics to GRAW. GRAW 2 looks…glossy and like a video game, while GRAW is less glossy. Also, it seems as if the weapons are horribly inaccurate. Perhaps, though, I have been spoiled by Vegas, which if you know how to work the weapon you are carrying, is pretty nice. I wasted an entire 28 round clip on one guy in GRAW 2 last night (Co-Op Mode) and finally got him with the last round. Pretty horrible considering I was 15ft away from him. Anyway, could be an ok game. Probably would really have liked this game…if it didn’t feel like I already have it. I was wanting more.
