End of Time series stuck in copyright limbo.
In Cubed3′s recent interview with an important japanese guy (that’s Hiromichi Tanaka to you) from Square-Enix, the one James was talking about earlier, he talked about quite a bit more than Final Fantasy XI not coming to Wii.
One thing he mentioned was how Square-Enix has been going with the inefficient practice of making all their own game engines for each game, and how that ought to change. This goes right in with Paul’s recent mention of their licensing of the Unreal Engine 3.
But to me, the biggest news in the interview was the uncertain news about the End of Time series, whose most recent entry, 2000′s Chrono Cross, rocked like nobody’s business.
