Blast Factor multiplayer offline only.
I had the chance to take Blast Factor and its add-on multiplayer pack for a spin the other night, and it looks like there’s no online play. Joystiq noted it supports up to 4 players in co-op or a “grudge match” mode. They also made an earlier inquiry asking whether there was online play coming before the pack was released, but received no response.
The offline co-op is quite good, and well worth playing. I enjoyed it thoroughly. But I can’t help but think an online game mode or two would have been better. I also think actually answering the question up front would have been better.
What does it take to actually be honest and up-front with your customers, or prospective customers. Did everyone who bought that add-on know it was for offline only co-op play?
