After a great lineup of new Virtual Console titles last month, particularly last week, Nintendo dropped two stinkers today: Baseball and brawler/fighter Urban Champion, both for NES. It’s kind of anticlimactic, and I really thought they’d be putting out more than two titles a week, but I suppose they wanted enough to make a big push for Christmas Day and this might be the beginning of a pretty steady trickle until the next push, perhaps to coincide with big titles launching on 360 and PS3. It would be funny to see Metal Gear and Snake’s Revenge on the day Metal Gear Solid 4 hits PS3, wouldn’t it?
Baseball and Urban Champion are $5 a piece.
